The Perfect Weight Loss Regimen
Our clients will certainly see impressive results right after they’ve gone through a Cryoskin treatment at Physical Evidence Chiropractic, but it’s what they do outside of our office that has the biggest effect on how long the results will last, and how much better they’ll get as treatments are continued.
Diet and exercise are a big part of what makes Cryoskin produce the best results. Cryoskin is a supplement to a healthy lifestyle — it works best when coupled with a fitness routine and healthy eating habits. There are certain dietary lifestyles that Cryoskin works better with than others, specifically the Ketogenic and Paleolithic diets.
These two diets have become increasingly popular in recent times, but not everyone is all that familiar with their specifics. Here is a little insight from Boca Raton chiropractor, Dr. David Lipman, as to why these two particular diets are the perfect complement to your Cryoskin treatments, and how they can help you achieve that perfect weight loss regimen.
The Ketogenic diet is a low-carb, high-fat diet that is ideal for fat burning, as the body relies on fat for energy, therefore burning it more often than storing it. By reducing your carb intake and replacing those carbs with fat, your body goes into a metabolic state called ketosis. This is when the body learns to burn that fat for energy.
Since the main objective of Cryoskin is to reduce fat, sticking to a diet that also has this as a goal makes sense. The two practices, when used together, you’re optimizing yourself for the ultimate fat loss capabilities.
The Paleolithic diet stems from the concept that we should cut out all the sugar, fat and processed foods in our current diet and return to eating as our ancestors did, which is why it’s referred to as the “caveman diet.” Food allowed on this diet include anything that could be “hunted and gathered.” The idea is to load yourself up with healthy vitamins, minerals, and fiber in order to fill yourself up faster, which results in eating less and curbing weight gain.
Dr. Lipman notes, however, that this type of diet will only work in tandem with Cryoskin if it focuses more on low sugar, natural foods such as vegetables rather than fruit.
If it seems like it may be too hard to follow one of these two diets entirely, it’s okay. Dr. Lipman recommends at least incorporating a few of their main points, such as eliminating sugar intake and filling up on healthy nutrients, in order to see the best Cryoskin results.
